Description: This is the Lake nearest the Roadside. Size and Depth: A 1.5 acre lake with depths of 5 feet on the south end to 10 feet on the north end, with shallower waters in the margins. Often used for Club Matches and having 44 pegs. Information: The east side of the lake is less steep than the west side, and easily accessible with a lot of excellent pegs mainly used for feeder fishing. A record catch of a 32lb Common Carp caught on the Pole! Species: The main species are F1's up to 5lb plus, Silvers, Tench, Bream, Common Carp, Mirror Carp and Ghost Carp which run to 18lb plus.
