Description: Willow Lake is the main pleasure fishing lake on the complex and is an excellent summer fishery. There are four islands, two peninsulars and 21 pegs around the lake. The average depth of the lake is 4ft. It is stocked with Tench, Roach, Rudd, Skimmers, Chub and Crucians, and a very high number of Common, Mirror and Ghost Carp, between 1lb and 14lb in weight, but averaging 4lb to 8lb. Catches of 50lb to 100lb are regularly made, with the best recorded weight being 186lb, taken on pole, fishing with double caster from peg 4 on the end of the peninsular.

Lake Rules: Restrictions In order to ensure the welfare of our fish, the wildlife and the lakes themselves, we impose a few rules which must be observed at all times:- Barbless hooks only (no microbarbs) No Groundbait, Hemp or seed baits No Cat or Dog meat Boilies are allowed only on the hook No rods to be left unattended No Carp sacks allowed Keepnets are allowed on all lakes but please adhere to the NFA Keepnet Code No Carp over 10lbs to be placed in a keepnet All fish must be returned to the lake where caught. Fish must not be transferred between lakes. No litter, hooks or line to be left behind on the bank. Please use the bins provided. No unused bait to be tipped in the water or left on the bank. Please use bins provided. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the site.
