Description: fisheries at Central Park
Wallasey Community Angling (WCA) is a part of The Friends of Central Park. WCA operate under the constitution of The Friends of Central Park. The WCA Head Bailiff holds a position on The Friends of Central Park Management Committee to represent the interests of anglers on the committee, at AGM and at Wallasey Central Park Partnership. Any money from memberships, donations and fund raising will be used to ensure the future of both Lakes. All monies raised by WCA will be held in the bank account of The Friends of Central Park and will be accounted for by their treasurer. The Club are looking to have an open day in the walled garden in Central Park so prospective members can attend and join. We are also looking into ways to raise funds from things like having a table at the Central Park Carnival in May to raise the awareness of the new fishing club and funds to be able to help it move forward. All club members will be invited to take part in fishing matches that will run from both lakes during the year. All members will be asked to help keep these lakes clean in work party days. The Club will have regular meetings and social events to engage the community. |
