Description: The Claremont Fishery has been established for over 10 years and is a hugely popular venue with local anglers as well as visiting fishermen. We have just undergone a much needed revamp on the pegs and now have an access path all the way around. It's a quiet and relaxing spot and the pond measures an acre with 26 pegs, including one peg for disabled access. It has been stocked with mirror, common and crucian carp, chub, tench, bream, barble, roach and rudd.

Fishery Rules: A landing net and mat must be shown in order to fish No Drink, Drugs or Thuggish Behaviour Litter will not be tolerated Open 7 days a week from 8.30am till 9pm. We have introduced a 24hr ticket, enabling anyone to night fish. Please speak to the bailiffs about booking . The car park gate will be shut at 9pm and opened again at 8.30am. Anyone not wishing to leave their car inside must park it at their own risk outside the gate. No concessions: We have also introduced 3 NEW bailiffs to the fishery, giving us 24 hour coverage of the pond, increasing security and peace of mind. Bailiffs have the right to refuse anyone a fishing ticket, anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave and not to return. Tickets can be bought lakeside only now and from the bailiffs. CASH ONLY.

Facilities: Toilets and refreshments are at the farm shop, 5 min walk. We have a portaloo on site now.
