Description: Greenbank Park Lake is a medium size lake located in small park and contains some large coarse fish including Roach to 2lbs, Perch to 3lbs, Tench 7lbs, Bream to 6lbs, Carp are into double figures. It is also rumoured to contain Pike.

Fishery Rules:

Angling permits

Before using any park lakes in Liverpool, you must obtain a permit from the council. This is to help promote good angling and conserve the quality of the lakes.

Once registered, it allows us to contact anglers about any issues affecting the lakes, as well as giving us a better idea as to how our parks are used.

Summary of the Anglers'Code of Conduct.

1. All Anglers aged 12 years or over must be in possession of an Environment Agency National Rod Licence, purchasable from any main Post Office.

2. Anglers may only fish from angling stations where they are provided or from areas otherwise designated.

3. Except by prior consent, fishing at night (between the hours of dusk and dawn) on all park lakes is prohibited.

4. The movement of fish stocks from water body to water body is prohibited.

5. Except by prior consent anglers are restricted to the use of 1 x Rod or 1 x Pole per person.

6. All litter and fishing line to be removed from the immediate vicinity after each fishing session.

7. Except by prior consent, tents and bivouacs are prohibited within the park and lake area.

8. Vehicles are prohibited from the park and lake area.

9. General Good Behaviour.

10. Good Manners and Good Citizenship.
