Description: The lake is located close to the village of Rushton (see map) in the grounds of Rushton Hall. and can only be described as an idyllic setting for afishingvenue, it benefits from peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and is well sheltered from the worst of the weather with plenty of tree cover. The lake holds a good head of fish, including Bream, Chub, Carp, Roach perch. plus two thousand small carp that were introduced a couple of seasons ago and are now starting to show. There are forty three permanent pegs with depths ranging from four to eight feet. two of which are designated fordisabledanglers.Matches are fished throughout the year, for information click Match Calendar Toilets are provided on site for the use of club members
