Northumbrian coarse anglers will be delighted to learn that a new water, Felmoor Fishery, has just opened.
Situated in Felmoor Park, Eshottheugh, between Morpeth and Alnwick, it is a 16-swim day ticket coarse fishery set amid beautiful countryside, while still being easy to access via the A1.
The lake is newly stocked with just under 900 carp to 6lb (mirror and fully scaled) and some tench from 1lb to 6lb.
The cost is #&163;10 a day per rod, or #&163;15 for two rods, and 82 fish were caught on opening day between six anglers.
