Description:
As Big Waters Angling Club is affiliated to the TAA all members are allowed to fish Wydon Burn free of charge.
Hexham AA is responsible for this 20 peg reservoir following its development by the EA assisted by the TAA, Wydon opened in April 2010 and has developed into a very good place to fish.
Wydon Burn has a depth up to 8ft and tench has been reported of above 3.5Lbs.
Wydon was stocked in 2010 which included 500 4-8cm Tench, 1750 4-8cm Crucian Carp, 1000 6-8cm roach (boosted by 500 roach from Derwent Reservoir) A further stocking of 2000 4-8cm rudd and 600 roach between 6oz and 1.5Lb we also added mid year.
6 Complementary day tickets are available on any day for TAA members.
For non-TAA members day tickets are available from GOJO and Top Tackle in Hexham, Juniors fish for free if they are fishing from the same peg as a Senior.
