Description: The fishery comprises of 2 ponds. The first pond entertains 30+ pegs and the depth varies between 3-5 ft deep, however there are places that approach 7ft in depth, which can produce even in the colder months. This pond is stocked from Humberside fisheries and contains; Bream to 1lb, Orfe to 1lb, a selection of carp (crucian/brown cross) to lb, Ghosties to 1lb, Commons to 2 lb, Mirrors to 3lb and a selection of larger mirrors averaging 5lb with some larger specimens above 8lb. Added to this is the natural population of Tench to 3lb, Roach to 1lb, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Chub to 1lb. The second lake is appreciably shallower, however it does contain some reasonable Carp to 10lb. The owner has plans to deepen this pond in the early spring, as such, I doubt it will be fishable in the early months while it settles down and the stocking levels are achieved. The main pond is adjacent to the car park so anyone with problems regarding access should bear this venue in mind and several disabled anglers fish there on a regular basis and all pegs are level and hard standing. There is also a shop/ meeting hut with a kettle that will sell non perishable bait on site.
