The fishery is open on all public bank holidays Cedar lake - night fishing - members. Members registration (free membership) form must be completed by all carp anglers and on receipt. This will be reviewed by management and if approved the angler will be informed via e-mail. No angler can book fishing slots until the members registration has been approved by management. 24 hour fishing slots must be booked 24 hours in advance by telephone to the office 01777 818497 or Mobile 07969 738765. Payment will be taken by management at the peg on the day. Alder and beach lakes well stocked: Carp - common / mirror 1-14 lbs, carp - f1 hybrids up to 2 lbs (new introduced stock), chub - up to 3 lbs, bream - Up to 4 lbs, barbel - up to 2 lbs (new introduced stock), ide - up to 2 lbs, roach - up to 2 lbs, tench - up to 3 lbs. Alder - beach - cedar lakes Important to note: If anglers for any reason don't attend for fishing on the pre - booked day-time and have not. Advised management via email 24 hours in advance then they will be charged the fishing fee in full. Fishing commencement times as detailed above is the time when the next angler should commence Fishing and so the peg must be clear ready for fishing to commence so all anglers should respect. This and ensure that they stop fishing in adequate time to clear and pack all their equipment, amd remove any rubbish and physically left the fishing peg for the time detailed above. The fishery gate is opened daily at 7.00am and closed at 8.30pm. Night fishing anglers will be locked in the fishery from 8.30pm to 7.00am the next day and if there is an emergency and they have to leave the fishery before 7.00am then they must call management on 01777 818497 or 07969 738765 who will open the gate for exit. We hope that you enjoy your visit to clearwater lakes fishery and look forward to your return Alder and Beach - Lakes, Site Information and Rules: The fishery has an average water depth of 12 feet and has 115 pegs and is stocked with extensive numbers of Carp from 5lb to 33lb and also further maturing silver fish including Bream, Chub, Ide/Orfe, Roach and Tench. All cars can be parked adjacent to the allocated fishing peg or in the car park provided. Handicapped persons will have ease of access for both fishing and toilets on pegs 1-5 inclusive. No Dogs, Bicycles, Fires or Music. Fishing is only permitted from platform pegs and not from the bank. All litter and or rubbish to be taken away from site. We reserve the right to inspect and search fishing tackle and private transport. Anyone not adhering to these rules will be asked to leave immediately. Rules subject to change by the bailiff or on written notice. Alder amd Beach - Lakes Fishing Rules: Barbless hooks only (not nipped barbs). Maximum hooks size 12. No Braided lines or Hybrid Lines (Single Strand Monofilament Nylon Only). In Line Method type feeders only. (All Feeders Must be Free Running). Maximum pole length 13 mtrs. (Over the water). No Floating Poles. All nets (Landing, Keepnet, Weighing Slings and Unhooking Mats) to be dipped in solution tanks, on arrival. No Keepnets (other than in matches). Keepnets and Landing Nets must be approved for Carp. 2 x Keepnets for matches 1 x Keepnet for Carp and 1 x Keepnet for silver fish (maximum weight of silver fish per Keepnet 50lbs). Ask abput weight limits for Carp in Keepnets. No stones in keep nets and no tins to be opened at fishing pegs. All fish must be landed and returned to water by landing net. Landed fish with weight of 6lb and above must not be placed in keep nets. Fish should be weighed and immediately returned to the water. No fish to be handled in rags. No fish to be removed from site. No night fishing. On match days weighing will be completed by club match secretary or other experienced and or authorised angler on behalf of A/c. Weighing may be supervised and or checked by the bailiff. No anglers under 12. (unless directly supervised by an adult). One ticket per rod (additional rod £2). N.R.A License required. Day ticket payment will be taken at the peg (check notice board for available pleasure fishing pegs prior to proceeding to fishing pegs). Alder and Beach - lakes Bait rules and restrictions: Banned baits: All types of Meats. All types and forms of Boilies. Trout pellets. Hemp, Tiger Nuts, Blood Worm, Joker, Dog Biscuits etc, No Floating Baits whatsoever, this includes Pellets, Bread etc. Any other baits not approved or recommended if in doubt please ask at the office 07969 738765 for prior approval or advice of the specific bait you intend to use or any other baits. Approved and recommended baits for Carp fishing: Carp Pellets, Sweet Corn, Cheese, Paste, Mussels, Prawns, and Bread "not floating" must be on pop-up. Silver fishing: Maggots, castors, worms, cheese, paste, pellets, sweet corn, ground bait, (ground bait should be applied by cup). Maximum bait allowed: 2kg pellets, 2kg Sweet Corn, 2kg Maggots, 2kg Casters, 2kg Worms 2kg Ground Bait and any other baits should be applied and used sensibly, No floating baits whatsoever, this includes pellets, bread etc. No boat bait feeders to be used whatsoever. No bait tins to be opened at the fishing peg. There are such a variety of baits and pellets if in doubt please ask the "office" 07969 738765 for prior approval or advice of the specific bait you intend to use or advice on any other baits. Anyone not strictly adhering to the bait rules will be requested to immediately leave the fishery and will not be permitted entrance to the fishery thereafter.
