Description: Set within the North Nottinghamshire countryside, Langold Lake is the perfect venue for all the family to enjoy. The venue is suited to all types of fishing with a mixed stock of Roach, Bream and Perch for the course anglers and approximately 1000 Carp to 30lb for the specimen anglers. Pike fishing is also really good between October and March.

Langold rules: Please ensure you check the noticeboard in the car park for match bookings before fishing. Coarse fishing: Disgorger, unhooking mat and a suitable sized landing net required at all times. Keepnets must not be used for longer than 6 hours and less on hot days if possible. Carp over 10lbs must not be kept in keepnets. Carp Fishing: Forceps, a 42" landing net and unhooking mat required at all times. Carp to be retained in a retainer sling for no longer than 10 minutes. No sacking. There is a 3 rod limit per angler. When night fishing, you must provide your own toilet and correctly dispose of any waste. The OMC 'The Magic Twig' is not allowed on this venue. Lure Fishing and or Pike Fishing: Strong wire traces must be used at all times. Long forceps, large landing let and unhooking mat to be carried at all times (Pike grow to over 20lbs). Pike must be returned to the water as soon as possible and handled with the utmost care. If you are not capable of unhooking a large pike on your own then you must fish with someone that can help you. No live baiting. No dead bait fishing between the 1st April and 1st October. Any dead fish or fish that look to be distressed or injured, please inform the fishery team immediately. All fish to be safely returned to the water. Opening and closing times are not negotiable. You must be in possession of your current EA rod license in order to fish. Anglers bivvies must be pitched in the designated swims. No tents. Respect your fellow anglers and keep within the stated swim boundaries. Intoxicated and or anti-social anglers will be asked to leave the venue. Boats (including bait boats) are not allowed. Dogs are allowed but must be kept under control in the confines of your swim and all mess must be cleared up after them. All BBQ's must be raised off the floor. No fires. No air rifles or other weapons. Do not cut trees or foliage without the fishery teams permission. You must leave just before the stated time on your ticket or buy an extension. To help encourage the next generation of anglers, under 18s can fish this venue free of charge. Open Matches are held every Sunday. Draw at 08:45 fish 10:00 - 16:00 Message 07776 841529 to book on.
