Description: Little John Lakes in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire is a great fishery which tends to offer decent fishing through the year. It is a modern commercial fishery with plenty of car parking, fairly short walks and comfortable pegs. It's a very popular match fishing venue, which is normally a sign of a good fishery.

All anglers must read the rules before fishing there will be no excuses.

All anglers must fish from pegs provided.

All anglers must collect a landing net from the cabin before fishing.

Landing net to be used on all fish.

No keepnets (except in matches) min. 10 anglers.

Everyone must use site keepnets and landing nets (only 60lb per net).

All anglers must carry a disgorger.

Barbless hooks only (max size 12).

No fish to be taken from site all fish must be returned to lakes.

Anyone seen miss handling fish will be asked to leave.

No bubble floats or controllers.

(only wagglers to be used, they have be a maximum 10mm wide and a minimum 4 Inch long).

All feeders to be inline and free running no elasticated method feeders (4 Inch minimum hook length).

No cutting back of any plants or foliage.

No rods to be left unattended at anytime.

Only one rod to be fished at one time.

No angler to fish by next peg.

no dapping a float.

Must be used.

Only 3 tins of corn.

only 2 kilo Of groundbait.

Only 3 tins of meat.

no cat or Dog meat etc.

No bloodworm or joker.

no nuts or boilies.

No floating pole.

no surface Baits.

No elasicated method feeders.

no spinners plugs.

No braid to be used.

no night Fishing.

No tins on peg.

no dogs.

no fires.

Any surplus bait to be put in bins provided not thrown in the lake.

All litter to be taken away.

All smokers to take their Ciggarette ends away with them and not disguard them on The grass or in the Water.

Loose feed pellets to be purchased on site.

All children must be accompained by an adult at all times.

Anyone found breaking these rules will be banned for life.

summer 7.00am' - 9.00pm

winter 8.00am' - 5.00pm

Day ticket prices:

Adult £7

O.A.P. and concessionery £6

Children (must be accompanied by an adult) £5

We have open matches tuesday's,thursday and saturday's

We have a veterans match on a friday for the over 50's

All matches draw at 9am fish 10am till 4pm

Facilities:

Anglers must use on site landing nets and (keepnets in matches

Baits available on site in Cabin.
