Description: The Fishing Lakes

Both of our lakes down here at Maythorne are day ticket lakes with a mix of carp, roach, bream, perch, tench chub and ide. The back pond was used to power the water wheel in the mill before being stocked 50 years ago. The front pond was dug almost 30 years ago for fishing.
