| Description: The fishery currently offers a choice of eight lakes:
Portland - Buzzard Portland - Canal Portland - Four Island Portland - Heron Portland - Kingfisher Lake Portland - Long Island Portland - Old Wood Lake Portland - Woodpecker Most of our 8 waters are stocked with carp and silvers. There are some fairly big carp on the cards, so don�t make the mistake of fishing on too lighter gear. Some of the lakes are a bit snaggy too, so make sure you give yourself the best chance of getting them on the bank. |

Rules and Restrictions: Keepnets only in matches. Only barbless hooks. Maximum hook size 12. No floating bait. No cat or dog meat. No boillies or nuts. Children under 14 must be supervised at all times. No dogs. Day Tickets, Membership and Prices: Day tickets are £6 during winter, £7 during the summer. A discount is avaialble for under 16s and over 65s. The environment agency states that all anglers must have a rod licence. You may be asked to show your licence when buying your ticket. If you do not have a licence you may be asked to leave the fishing lakes. |

Facilities:
On site, there is a toilet block and a club house that offers food over the weekend, they have a drinks licence, so that means you can also get a pint! The lakes at Portland Fishery are often booked for matches, if you want to fish on a specific water, then it would be wise to check in advance to make sure you can fish where you want to. |
