Description: Follyfoot Fishery is a well established, mature lake offering day or night fishing. Non fishing partners are welcome. The lake covers approximately 3 acres in a beautiful and tranquil setting at the foot of the Quantock Hills. Follyfoot really is one of the top Carp Fishing locations in the UK.

Rules

Please note that we can no longer take bookings for day tickets due to the popularity of the huts for overnight use, however day anglers are welcome if there is space on the day so telephone in the morning before travelling to check for availability.

Day ticket £12 per person 07:30am until Dusk.

All the fish in the lake are self bred from the original stock put in during 1993, subsequently we are completely free of Koi herpes. This is why it is so important that you use our own nets and unhooking mats during your time here.



01. These premises are used at your own risk, Follyfoot Fishery does not accept liability for any accident, injury, damage, loss or theft from these premises.

02. All fishing must be paid for before setting up. This lake operates a pre-booking system. If you have not pre-booked please telephone 07748400904 before commencing to fish as this hut may already be booked and you may have to move or leave.

03. To prevent cross contamination, only the unhooking mats and landing nets provided by the fishery may be used. Keepnets or sacks are not allowed. Any fish to be weighed must be done so in a weigh sling and if the fish is to be photographed it must not be caused stress, be fully supported close to the ground over an unhooking mat and returned to the water as soon as possible.

04. Anglers must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency rod licence.

05. The management reserve the right to refuse entry, or remove persons causing a disturbance.

06. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

07. No dogs allowed.

08. No loud noise audible from other huts.

09. No swimming or wading in the water.

10. Boat only to be used with permission unless in an emergency.

11. No smoking inside the huts or toilet or shower block.

12. Please do not graffiti on the hut walls, doors etc. Anyone found causing damage to our property will face an instant ban.

13. Danger of overhead cables, Look up and Look out! Extreme caution to be taken when casting, the use of a bait boat is strongly advised. Sideways casting only towards the cables.

14. Wood slippery when wet, take care during wet weather.

15. Barbless hooks only. No fixed rigs. No fishing poles. No tiger nuts.

16. All rubbish to be taken home. Any persons found leaving rubbish will face an instant ban.

17. No fires to be lit. Disposable BBQ's are permitted but must be placed on a protective surface away from the wood platforms.

18. No poles to be used at this venue due to overhead cables, carp rods only.
