Description: The reservoir offers some excellent top water trout fishing, both early and late season and is one reservoir where anglers have the option of fishing most of the season with a floating line.

The venue is very well stocked with rainbows and brown trout averaging 2lb, with some surprise double-figure specimens.

Early season the main body of water at the dam end of the reservoir fishes very well, while from midseason onwards loch-style boat fishing is good, particularly in the southern arm.
