Description:
There is one lake at this farm, but it is over 3 acres in size and offers a good peg selection with plenty of room between you and the person in the next peg, there are 50 of them to choose from. The water dates back as far as the early 1800's and was once part of the River Don. The water has an average depth in most places of about 6 ft.
Originally the land was owned by Yorkshire Electric and sported a cricket ground in the centre that still stands to the day. Many anglers take the family and make a picnic and have a grand day out. The old cricket pavilion has been turned into a cafe and a toilet block. There are now caravan and camping facilities on site, if you want to make your stay longer.
