Description:

New Biggin is one of the waters run by Chapeltown and District AA. It is one of the oldest clubs in Sheffield and the first angling club in South Yorkshire to get the highly accredited clubmark status, it also has four qualified coaches and runs coaching sessions for Children throughout the year.

The pond has twelve easily accessible pegs all on the level and all are well maintained, there is only a short flat walk from the car park so it is ideal for the less agile angler. The pond is also a nature reserve and you can expect to see a varied selection of animals around the place.

Although this pond is situated near a major by-pass it has a very peaceful and secluded feel about it with plenty of bird and pond life in evidence. This pond is a very popular venue so get there early if you go at the weekend.
