Description:

Fishing is permitted on Nethermoor Lake, Northern Lake (in designated areas) and the River Rother down stream of the regulator bridge.

Nethermoor Lake is also used occasionally by scuba diving clubs, please move to another area on the lake or in the park if this is in progress.

Northern Lake is used by the Sheffield Jet Ski Club and on Sundays Newfoundland Dog Club, the area where you are permitted to fish is not affected by these two users. Occasionally events will be held on this lake and fishing will not be permitted until the event has finished.

Fishing is only permitted in the park at our opening times in these areas, but your season ticket or day ticket will allow you to fish at any of the three areas.

Fishery Rules:

1. Barbless hooks only

2. Cereal ground bait is not allowed

3. All anglers must produce a valid Environment Agency license on request and obtain the relevant day or season ticket

4. 2 rods per day per person with a day or season ticket

5. Keep nets must be a minimum of 3 meters long and set in accordance with Environment Agency rules

6. No litter must be left behind, please bag it up and give to the staff, place in a bin nearby or take home with you

7. Any trout caught must be released immediately

8. No fires are permitted in the park,

Please ensure you keep your rod licence and your day ticket or season ticket on you at all times when fishing in the park. You may be asked to show your rod license and your day ticket or season pass to staff when fishing if you do not have them you will be asked to stop fishing or pay the day ticket price.

Facilities:?

BBQ's are allowed as long as they are off the ground and disposed of by putting cold water on them to cool them down and taking them away or putting them next to the nearest bin in an orderly fashion for collection by the park staff.

Day tickets can be purchased from the parking barrier or at the bank side from park staff.
