Description:
This water looks absolutely stunning during the spring, summer and autumn periods. It is run by the very good Barnsley AA and is very well bailiffed by knowledgeable anglers who are always willing to help when they can.
It is advisable to secure your car well and remove items from view as the area does suffer from scum who will break into your car if invited by carelessly left items.
The water is capable of offering sport the whole 12 months of the year. The water averages 7ft deep in most areas with the roadside and left hand side bank as you look at it from the road offering the deepest areas with around 10ft. The water is in a dip and is well surrounded by established trees and as such is easily fishable when strong winds are blowing.
