Description:
This water situated in the old Colliery town of Maltby. It is without doubt a very spring, summer and autumn venue. The fishing can be very difficult during cold spells as there isn't a great deal of depth.
A small stream that enters at the top end feeds the water and this probably has something to do with the depth as it is only 2ft deep here. The water gradually drops down to a maximum of 4ft deep towards the road and Car park end.
