Description:
There are two lakes to fish here with about 13 acres of water to choose from in total. The waters are landscaped wonderfully only to be spoilt by a fair bit of rubbish on the banks (Come on take it home). It is a council run water administered by the Thorne and District Angling Association, who apparently do a lot of work on the water and have some additional good angling on a nearby canal.
Of the two lakes the smaller has a central island which is a good feature to drop a bait to, especially when the water is warming up or when the sun is blazing.
The average depth of this water is about 6 ft.
