Description:
This water is run by Chapeltown and district AA and at just over 3½ acres has just short of 40 pegs to fish from. There are 5 pegs along the Dam wall and there are one or two pegs that can be easily accessed but the remainder of the pegs are not suitable for disabled anglers. This is due to some fairly steep steps that have to be negotiated.
The water is fairly sheltered and is well fished throughout the year. The water does hold matches so check prior to travelling to avoid being disappointed. There is car parking that is visible from the majority of the pegs.
The water is deep in most parts with some places being over 14ft, the shallowest parts offer around 9 inches deep in the bay at the top end of the water.
