Description:
This water used to be free but since 2008 it has been a day or season ticket water. As with any water you must have a valid EA License and council workers often check these. The water is part of the council park and therefore it does often get busy with other park users. The water is very well kept and has a number of features that you can fish to including some established lilies that are natural fish holding features.
The water is at the top of a bit of a climb so take the trolley or slim down the tackle you don't need or you'll be puffing and blowing when you sit in the peg! The water is very shallow and as such suffers when the temperature drops. The bottom is also very silty so dead maggots work best as loose feed otherwise they disappear in the mud.
