Welcome to Chorley Springs

Our aim is to ensure that everyone enjoys using these facilities and does so safely and free from harm, having with respect for the property, other visitors and our neighbours.

Please pay at the Pay Station at the Top Pool before fishing any pool.

Any payments made on the bank will incur a £3 additional charge.

Please take your litter home.

Anybody disregarding these rules will be asked to leave

Be aware of the position of Life Buoy Rings before fishing

In case of Emergency dial 999 and ask for the appropriate emergency service

Fishery Rules:

A current Environment Agency Rod Licence is required

No fires.

No radios or alcohol

Please report any injured fish or wildlife.

Top, Middle and Bottom pools - 1 rod per person.

Specimen and Runs pool - 2 rods per person.

No rods to be left unattended.

Fishing from designated pegs only.

Barbless hooks only - No braided mainline.

Large landing nets and un hooking mats to be used at all times

Hold fish over unhooking mat when taking photos of your catch

No keep nets unless for pre booked competitions.

Permitted baits - maggots, casters, sweetcorn, worms, bread, paste, luncheon meat, carp pellets, boilies

No unprepared particles or nuts

Bait boats permitted on Specimen Pool and Runs Pool only

No spinning or live baiting

All fish must be carefully returned to the water immediately

All persons entering the Fishery do so entirely at their own risk.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who accepts responsibility for them whilst at theFishery.



Health and Safety Rules:

Do not enter the water - No wading or swimming

Observe the speed limit - Give way to pedestrians.

Be aware of slippery and sloping ground when driving

Wear appropriate footwear.

Boats are for staff use only and must not be used

Be aware of the risks of using hooks, knives, tins etc.

Be aware of overhead lines above the Runs Pool.

Sanitise your hands before eating

Be aware of the symptoms of the risks from Weil's

Disease, Lyme's Disease and Poisonous Plants - seek

medical assistance if you feel unwell

Report any accidents and unusual circumstances

By entering the Fishery you agree to these Rules

Our mature pools are stocked with various types of Carp up to 30lbs, Tench, Chub, Bream, Perch, Barbel, Orfe, Rudd and Roach.

Coarse Fishing:

Idyllic location with 5 pools totalling 82 pegs, with day, night and annual tickets available, we aim to have exactly what you need.
