Description: Specimen Fishing at Leighton Pools Spend a day fishing at Leighton Pools on our specimen lakes in 18 acres of a picturesque part of the West Midlands, 5 miles north west of Wolverhampton between the villages of Codsall and Codsall Wood. The site includes two pools totalling 4.5 acres, each with its own character and type of fish. The average depth of the pools is 6 feet (approx. 1.8 metres), and they are kept well stocked with Catfish, Carp, Mirrors, Commons, and Leathers ranging in size of up to 30 lbs. The fishing pools and paths are all well cared for, and the mature trees around the waters make this one of the most attractive fishing spots you will find. Facilities include toilets, washrooms, and a Carp Shack overlooking the Leighton Pool making a long fishing week/weekend easy. For those wishing to stay in more traditional accommodation, a country hotel is situated on a local farm within half a mile.
