Description:

Now fully open after a four year re building and re stocking programme, we are able to offer peaceful quiet fishing in any of our four well stocked lakes. With carp to 30lb plus, and tench to 9lb 8oz plus and cat fish to 20lb plus in the top lake.

The Middle lake has been remodelled to remove most of the surrounding trees, and de silted to give a better depth and quality of water, it Is well stocked with over 2000 lb of carp, having been introduced over the last 4 years, to add to the existing stock. There are commons, mirrors and leather carp. The largest caught to date was 24lb 4 oz. There is a good head of tench, again the largest being 7lb 8 oz. There are a few roach but mainly Rudd. It is a very sheltered lake with many features such as the sunken island, several large lily pads, and is a good lake for stalking the carp.

Past the bottom lake is the purpose built match lake, with two car parking areas, wide level banks, and up to 30 swims. It is usually set for 24 swims, and matches are becoming a regular feature, either organised by our selves, or by clubs and groups renting the lake for their own match.

It is stocked with a variety of fish including some very fast growing mirrors and commons from the Fishers Pond Strain, Crucians, Tench, Bream, Perch, roach, Rudd and a few surprises. Match fishing will be available on both the bottom lake and the match lake most weekends and some mid week and evenings.

The Fourth lake is Stocked exclusively with Carp and Trout, and is for members only, or available for Private Hire, It is perched on the top of a hill, and offers wonderful views of the surrounding country side, with deer, badgers and other wildlife often being seen.

We have an on going maintainace policy and intend to keep stocking the lakes with larger and larger fish! Our main priorities are the welfare of the fish and the satisfaction of the Anglers.
