Directions and Parking:

The current code for the first gate can be found in your handbook.

From the roundabout at the western end of the Farnham by-pass, follow the A325 south west (sign posted Bordon). After 1.5 miles you will pass Birdworld and a garden centre on your right, continue and turn left at the crossroad towards Dockenfield. On Dockenfield Street, after 200m, turn left into Alice Holt forest.

When the forest is closed to the public, access is via a key pad and the code can be found in your handbook.

Access and Parking At 'Gate A' (see map opposite) Drive through if forest open to public or use the code in your handbook to access if closed. At 'Barrier B' As you pull up to it the camera will read your registration and then the barrier will lift to allow access. Follow the road and turn left at Forest Classroom. At 'Gate C' Use FAS key to access.

The barrier must be closed and locked. Abide by the 10mph speed limit at all times along the forest track. Follow the signs towards the FAS car park. The lake is 100m walk away. Do not park in the garden centre car park, the gateway immediately opposite or the narrow lay-by on the A325, as unauthorised vehicles may be towed away or wheel clamped.

This applies to all Members: both Re-joining and New. During opening times on your first visit to Lodge Pond you will be required to visit the Visitor Centre (see map for location) to present your handbook and give your car registration number. This will be entered onto the automatic barrier system which will read your car registration number on forthcoming visits and allow you to exit. If you did not register on arrival, when leaving you will need to register at the Visitors Centre before driving to Barrier B. You will need to do this on your first visit only, unless you come fishing in a different vehicle, in which case you will have to register again at the Visitor Centre, our opening hours are typically 10am-3pm.
