Description: At Tunnel Barn we pride ourselves on the quality of our pools. We have 9 individual pools, each giving a unique fishing experience.

The fishing in our pools is varied and exciting. Anglers regularly catch assortments of Carp, Roach, Bream, Tench, Chub, Perch and Golden Orfe.

Rules:

Our rules exist to safeguard our fish stocks and ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe visit to Tunnel Barn.

Pleasure Anglers:

All fish to be netted by a landing net.

At least 2 keepnets must be used with fish evenly split across the nets. There is a maximum of 65lb per net.

Barbless hooks no bigger than a size 10.



External Clubs:

A minimum of 2 keepnets to be used on all matches with fish spread evenly between the nets please.

All keepnets must be dry before they are put into the water and can only be put in 15 minutes prior to the match starting.

They should be laid out on the bank for at least 20 minutes while setting up.

Net limit of 65lb maximum.

You can only fish to the leg of the next peg irrespective of the number of empty pegs either side of you.

All buckets and bait boxes should not be washed out in the lakes prior to a match.

3 tins of meat is the maximum allowance per angler per match.

You can only feed whilst at your own peg.

All fish to be netted by a landing net.

No floating baits.

A float or indicator must be used at all times.

There must be 10.16cm / 4" of line between the pole tip and float and 15.24cm / 6" deep below the float

Barbless hooks no bigger than a size 10.

No braid.

No boilies.

Feed pellets must be Tunnel Barns own. Any angler found to be using different brands will be disqualified.

No litter to be left on the pools after the match please.

No bread allowed (from 1st MAR to 30th SEP).

Bread is only allowed as hook bait extension, in the form of bread punch, no bigger than 10mm (from 1st OCT to 28th FEB).

No loose feeding of bread is allowed in any form.



Gardening Rules:

You may trim any vegetation above the waters surface, but please do not pul any out of the water, and pease leave trimmings neatllly on ther bank beside your peg.



Night Fishing:

Night fishing has to be booked and paid for in advance.

Strictly NO anglers without prebooking.

Maximum of 2 rods per person.

No loose feeding of boilies. You can use them on the hook.

Barbless hooks no bigger than a size 8.

No micro barbed hooks.

No braid.

You must use an unhooking matt.

There is NO EXCEPTION to this:

All fish are to be netted.

No fires.

BBQ must be raised from the ground.

All litter to be removed from the peg upon departure.

Only TBF feed pellets to be used.

Any unused bait should just be taken home, or given to the fishery staff to dispose of, and not just thrown in the lake.

During the day you must respect the pleasure anglers that will be sharing the lake with you.

The gates will be locked from 8pm and you will not be allowed to leave the site until they reopen at 7am the following morning.
