Description: Alderwood ponds are situated on the horsham road, steyning, west sussex bn443aa ,b2135 ashurst to partridge green road, we have three ponds on site, daves pond for the disabled with hard stand parking, the corsican pond with 15 pegs and the island pond with 26 pegs. We have carp to 38lb 8ozs, tench to 10lb, perch to 5lb 10zs, roach, rudd and Golden orfe.

Fishery Rules: Payment is on bank by cash only, we dont take cards. No membership is needed, and you do not need to book in advance for day fishing. No barbed hooks or micro or crushed barbs if found you will be asked to leave. Cradles required for island lake. 14" minimum carp safe landing net required for all ponds and lake Discorger and forceps required. All mats, nets, weigh slings must be dipped even if not used else where anyone not dipping will be asked to leave. Ground bait in small feeders, and or pva bags, kept to a minimum. No live bait. No nuts. No bread. No spinners. No spodding. No bait boats. No radios only with ear phones. No loose dogs. No dogs left in cars on property. No picnics unless fishing. No keep nets. No sea line. No braid on line. No fixed leads or feeders. Boilies in moderation. No bbq,s unless with a stand, not to be used on the grass no brickets or wood. No exit between closing time and 8am. Entry, Anglers and visitors 8am to 5pm plase ensure you leave ample time to pack away as gates are locked at 5pm. No children under the age of 10yrs on bank unless fishing and accopanied by an adult. No children allowed on bank between the hours of 5pm and 8am unless night fishing, with an adult. No ball games or cycles on bank. Rubbish must be taken home. Large nets cradles required for island lake. All fish must be landed in a net and returned asap to the water using a net no matter what size, do not handle fish with a towel. Mats and nets standard size all other ponds. No wading. No fly fishing. Use toilet facilities not bushes. No using a Disabled swim unless you hold a blue badge. Night fishing: Night fishing is by appointment only. 18yrs and over, exeptions of 8yrs may be made if with an adult, we only allow so many at night to set up on the island pond to allow for day tickets , you are locked in on the premises at night but bailiff is on site.Please provide large nets and cradle for island lake. 24hrs. Anglers £35 , guests £30, juniors £30 dogs £2.50 night fishing wed to sat & sun if a bank holiday.
