Description: A warm welcome to Five Oaks Fishery, offering course fishing in unspoilt countryside in the heart of West Sussex, between Horsham and Billingshurst. We have two superb lakes of 3 acres, varying in depth to 2.5 metres at the deepest point, offering 30 pegs. The lakes were specially created to provide the ultimate fishing experience for the serious angler or the absolute beginner in 1999 and are well stocked with fish of outstanding quality, colouration and size.

Rules:

Customers are entitled to fish either lake but if you move to another peg you must take all your equipment with you.

All fish caught must be returned to the water immediately after weighing and photographing with the greatest care being taken for their welfare.

Please do so over an unhooking mat kneeling down, not standing.

Photographs of any notable fish caught would be appreciated for our website gallery, please email them to and we will add them to the website, please also take photos in landscape so that they show they are from here, otherwise they may not be shown on the website.

Please clean your swim before you leave and take all litter, discarded line and unused bait away with you including cigarette ends.

No fishing allowed without a EA rod licence.

Use barbless hooks only, hook lengths must be lighter than main line.

Do not leave rods and baited hooks unattended.

Landing nets must be used at all times.

Unhooking mats must be used at all times.

No keep nets, except for authorised matches.

No fish to be kept in sacks.

No fish to be introduced or removed from the fishery.

Please do not be aggrieved when asked to inspect your vehicle.

No bait restrictions.

No shouting or excessive noise, including mobile telephone ringing tones and bite alarms, please keep beeping to a minimum.

Be courteous to others, antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.

No wading, swim raking or swimming.

Do not damage bankside vegetation or trees.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an experienced fishing parent and or guardian. Unless it is authorised by Fishery management.

We do allow dogs onto the fishery, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and you must clean up after them. They must also not be noisy.

No drugs onsite, alcohol in moderation.

No trespassing in farm buildings.

No fires or BBQs, without prior permission.

One million candle watt power torches are not necessary, although head torches are more than adequate.

There are two toilets on site located close to the lake but at present there are no shower facilities on site.
