Description: This varied stocking of quality fish make this Lake ideal for the pleasure angler who appreciates the expectation of not knowing what the next bite could produce. The pole, waggler and feeder all produce results, with a little and often approach the preferred method of introducing loosefeed and groundbait. The most popular swims are on the road bank but dont ignore the islands on the opposite bank where most of the carp are caught.

Fishing is on the Lower Lake ONLY. The Upper Lake The big one nearest Petworth House is strictly No Fishing.

Please be aware that The National Trust now charge for Parking at Petworth Park. We have negotiated an exemption for our Members who will be provided with a permit. Members are advised that the Club will not be held liable if a Member is penalised for failing to properly display their permit.
