Description: English: Roosthole Pond, in the civil parish of Nuthurst and over one half mile north from Mannings Heath, Near Horsham, West Sussex. Possibly another hammer pond. Its main purpose now is for fishing.

Rules:

Open All Year, except for 4 weeks a year to allow for work to be carried out.



Special Rules:

No keepnets are allowed except in bonafide competitions when two are required, one of which must be carp-safe.

Members must not enter before 4am and must leave before 11pm.

Night fishing is allowed for those Members with Night Permits.



Parking and Access:

Roosthole is on the south side of Hammerpond Road. Only enter by the gate with the HDAA lock, on the Horsham side, in Hammerpond Road.

The gate must be closed and locked at all times.

Members wishing to fish the Mannings Heath side must enter the gate on the Horsham side and walk round the lake, via two further locked gates. Members must not enter the fishery directly from the road on the Mannings Heath side.

Parking is in the layby on Hammerpond Road just outside the pond.
