Description: Royds Hall Dam is situated quite close to Harold Park in the Low Moor area. It is on the opposite side of Abb Scott Lane to the south of Harold Park. There are two entry points to the fishery, one from Lingdale Road over a stile in to the field and one from off the A641 Woodside Road and up the old lane. The dam is a triangular shape and you can fish all the way around except for where the gardens run up to the lake edge. The west side of the lake is the shallowest at about 3 feet deep and even has a few weed beds. The lake deepens off to the dam wall on the East side with a maximum depth of around 14 feet. The main species are roach, perch, bream and the odd crucian carp, tench, gudgeon and carp.
WARNING! Due to power lines crossing the lake only rods up to a length of 4 metres are allowed.
