Description: Lake 1. Formally 2 small ponds and it was the first project for the new fishery.

We took out a barrage separating the two old ponds and removed a couple of old islands.

The new Lake 1 is around 3 acres in size and stocked with a varied selection of English bred carp. The fish have been hand selected, with a mixture of scaly, linear, and leathery mirrors with a few commons to 35lb, the stock is of very high quality.

There are 5 dedicated swims and various other stalking areas.

Lake 2. The original Walden Lake is very picturesque. In the 1980s the lake was dug for trout fishing so is very shallow. The lake has lots of features and is a perfect environment for the fish to thrive as Lake 2.

This will be the next part of the ongoing improvement at the fishery Opening in 2025 a New Syndicate.
