Description: Shatterford Lakes is a premier angling venue set within 25 acres of idyllic Worcestershire countryside and only three miles away from Kidderminster. The six fishing lakes are all interlinked by fresh natural spring water flowing from the hills into the valley below. Rules: Opening Times: We open at 8am on weekdays and around 7.30am weekends. There is a strict 8pm gate closure in summer months and we close at dusk in winter. Rules for Specimen and Course Fishing: Please make sure you read all the rules and please make sure you have all the right equipment. As anyone found breaking the rules will be asked to leave immediately. The owners accepts no responsibility for vehicles, contents or fishing equipment whilst on this site. All rods must be on a pod or in proper bank sticks, and must be clear of the floor and clipped in properly. No Keep Nets allowed. Live and Dead Baiting optional, strict conditions apply. Fish MUST NOT be killed, moved or taken by anglers. Use commercial brand ground bait only. No nuts of any kind. Rods must NOT be left unattended at any time. Use Barbless hooks only. Minimum 42" Unhooking Mat and 15lb line. Treble hooks or fixed leads must NOT be used. No swimming or walking into the lakes. Do not leave unwanted equipment on site. Dispose of all litter appropriately. Respect fellow anglers water space. Report any incidents or concerns immediately. Keep noise and lighting to a minimum. Report any incidents or concerns immediately. Health and Safety, site security and common sense MUST prevail at all times. All carp and cat anglers must have a carpcare kit with them. All specimen anglers MUST use the correct equipment as stated in the rules. Bait Restrictions: Live Baits for Cats will be supplied by the fishery at £1.25. Anglers MUST advise us on arrival. Dead bait can only be used if purchased on site. Random checks will be carried out and all offenders banned and asked to leave immediately.
