Description:Grebe Pool provides a more challenging landscape for the pleasure angler and is also our largest fishing pool with 58 pegs in total. Woodside Pool has matured over the years and become extremely popular. It has 20 pegs and is well stocked with larger carp up to 28lbs.

Rules and Prices: Follow the orange signs from Top Barn Farm main entrance. Just turn up and fish no booking Open all year for day fishing. NO night fishing. Please use main Top Barn Entrance and follow orange signs to pools. £6.50 per rod or £12 for 2 rods, exact change only please, PAY ON BANK Annual ticket: £70 one rod or £120 two rods Fishery rules: All health and safety notices must be adhered to NO night fishing. Catch and Release. NO ENTERING THE WATER AT ANY TIME. Please take all litter and surplus fishing bait home. Current Environmental Agency licence must be shown when requested. Only one person per peg carer, or one additional person allowed. Please abide by all safety notices. Children under the age of 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult and kept in sight at all times. Check notice boards for contest information, rules and safety notices. Pets on leads allowed. No open fires but cooking stove permitted if attended at all times. Do not leave rods and equipment unattended. Priority for disabled anglers on designated accessible pegs. Park in designated car park or next to peg if peg is road side. Failure to abide by any of our rules will mean you will be asked to leave immediately, and the EA and Police may be called. Equipment you must have per peg. Unhooking mat and carp cradle. Landing net. Seat needed with antislip feet. Rod rest. Equipment WILL be spot checked by bailiffs. Only barbless hooks should be used. Grebe Pool, maximum hook size 8. Woodside Pool, carp up to 28lb hook size to be appropriate. Hooks will be checked. Grebe Pool, maximum line strength of 12lb Fish welfare: No keepnets. Catch and release. All fish must be unhooked in landing nets. Never handle or wipe fish with cloths, towels or rags. Only photo fish on unhooking map or carp cradle , keep this to a minimum time. Only barbless hooks should be used. Hooks will be checked. Bait boats may be used at the discretion of the bailiff on the day. Landing nets must be dry before use on our pools.
