Rules:

Woodlands fishery rules; updated 29th May 2024.

The fishery opens at 7.30am and the gates are locked at 5pm.

All children under the age of 12 years must have a responsible adult with them at all times.

Permitted baits;

Fishery feed pellets only. No other feed pellets or groundbait allowed.

Casters.

Worm.

Maggots.

Sweetcorn.

Luncheon meat "hook only"

Hooker pellets "must be fish meal only"

No other baits allowed.

No overshotted rigs.

4 inch hook length minimum.

4 inch lash length minimum.

No pole tapping.

Any one found to be fishing and/or have any other baits on their peg will be told to leave the fishery immediately.

Barbless hooks only.

Largest hook size 12.

Maximum pole length 16.5m

Method feeders are allowed, inline method feeders only guru xsafe elasticated system.

You can only use woodlands feed pellet in the feeders.

All keep nets must be laid out to dry prior to fishing and only put into the water 10 minutes before start of the match.

Maximum keep net limit is 50lbs amended 1st August 2021.

Match bait limit 8 pints.

Please do not throw any unused bait into the pools.

Please take home all your rubbish.

Regular hook and bait checks are carried out.

Any one who chooses to break the rules will be asked to leave the fishery immediately.
